Are they an example of burgeoning self-confidence? Are they a cry for help? Or are they simply extreme narcissism? Are they the ultimate manifestation of Generation Me? Are they empowering? Or are they desperate cries for validation? Do selfies contribute or are they symptoms of Body Dysmorphic Disorder or other behavioural / psychological disorders?
